Disney on Ice & Fried Chicken!

Kind of a crazy title, but I'm excited that today I got tickets for my family to go see Disney on Ice. We didn't get to do a family vacation this summer and I was feeling burnt out. So, I found out two things: D.O.I was going to be in our area and they feature the Incredibles mostly, which Paulie loves! I know it's not big, but it's just the joy of being able to take Paulie to something he will love. Not that this event is " break-the-bank" expensive, but I feel, what's the point of me working if our family doesn't get to just go out and have "over-priced" fun once in awhile.

Paulie started Awana's lastnight. He had so much fun. He is so social and where ever there are a lot of kids having fun he wants to be right in there with them! I'm so glad we signed him up.

The Fried Chicken?! Well, I absolutely love fried chicken and right now the travel channel is featuring restaurants which are claimed to serve the best fried___. Of coarse they started with fried chicken.
My grandma used to make the best chicken but she doesn't cook anymore. I know her ingredients were mainly salt, pepper and garlic powder, those where the seasonings she would use on all meat, but it was always the tastiest chicken. I have made fried chicken a couple of times and this last time was really good, but since I try to make healthy choices I rarely fry anything. I have eaten out fried chicken but it's never as good. It's usually dried out from sitting too long or too greasy. So disappointing. :(

So, now my secret's out about my passion for great home-cooked fried chicken served hot !

I hear the garage so that means my honey is home.

Remember to Live Life and eat your fried chicken!
